Sex Therapy Intensive

A foundational training in the practical clinical skills you need to confidently work with sexuality in therapy.

Advanced Sex Therapy Trainings

For clinicians already comfortable discussing sexuality in therapy, including experienced sex therapists seeking deeper specialization and advanced clinical conceptualization.

Complex Desire & Arousal Presentations

This workshop examines complex and multifactorial presentations of low desire and arousal difficulties. Participants will deepen their ability to assess contributing factors (biological, psychological, relational, and contextual), refine case conceptualization, and apply targeted interventions. Emphasis is placed on integrating mindfulness, cognitive-behavioural, and relational approaches to support more effective, individualized treatment planning.

Asexuality in Clinical Practice

Drawing on current research and clinical experience, this workshop supports clinicians in understanding asexuality and related spectrum identities in therapeutic contexts. Participants will learn how to conduct affirming assessments, understand the distinction between asexuality and sexual difficulties that cause distress, address common misconceptions, and support clients who identify as asexual or are exploring their sexual orientation.

Mindfulness & Sexuality

This workshop explores the application of mindfulness-based approaches to sexual concerns, including low desire, arousal difficulties, and performance anxiety. Participants will learn practical exercises and client resources, grounded in evidence-based protocols, that can be integrated into individual or couples therapy to reduce avoidance, increase present-moment awareness, and support sexual well-being.

Men's Sexuality in Therapy

Focused on the assessment and treatment of sexual concerns commonly presenting in men, including erectile difficulties, premature ejaculation, low desire, and performance anxiety. Participants will strengthen their ability to conduct sensitive assessments, address shame and relational factors, and apply targeted, evidence-informed interventions that can be adapted across individual and couples contexts.

Women's Sexuality in Therapy

Focused on the assessment and treatment of sexual concerns commonly presenting in women, including low desire, arousal difficulties, orgasm challenges, and sexual pain. Participants will strengthen their ability to conduct sensitive assessments, address shame, cultural, and relational factors, and apply targeted, evidence-informed interventions (including mindfulness-based approaches) that can be adapted across individual and couples contexts.

Sex and Trauma: Clinical Considerations

This workshop examines the intersection of trauma and sexual functioning. Participants will learn how to assess the impact of trauma on sexuality, apply trauma-informed principles within sex therapy, and support clients in addressing avoidance, dissociation, and relational challenges while maintaining appropriate pacing and safety.

Sexual Pain in Therapy

Focused on the assessment and treatment of sexual pain presentations, including genito-pelvic pain/penetration disorder, dyspareunia, and related concerns. Participants will strengthen their ability to conduct sensitive, trauma-informed assessments, collaborate effectively with medical and pelvic-floor providers, and apply targeted, evidence-informed interventions that address physical, psychological, and relational factors across individual and couples contexts.

Compulsive and Out-of-Control Sexual Behaviour in Therapy

Focused on the assessment and treatment of compulsive sexual behaviour, hypersexuality, and related out-of-control sexual concerns, including out-of-control masturbation and pornography consumption. Participants will strengthen their ability to conduct sensitive assessments, differentiate compulsive patterns from other sexual presentations, address contributing psychological and relational factors, and apply targeted, evidence-informed interventions across individual and couples' contexts.
