Natalie Brown, PhD, C.Psych
Natalie received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and completed her clinical residency at Vancouver Coastal Health. Alongside her work at Ontario Sex Therapy, she is also a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Remedy Institute where she works on a clinical trial testing the efficacy of MDMA-assisted Conjoint Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for couples affected by Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. She has been involved in sex research for over a decade.
Natalie is known for her warmth, authenticity, and direct style. She is passionate about working alongside people to design lives that support thriving. Natalie has experience providing sex therapy for a range of sexual difficulties including genital pain, vaginismus (her dissertation topic), problems with desire, and sexual recovery in the wake of trauma. She works with individuals and couples of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship constellations.
Natalie also has a keen interest and in-depth training in the treatment of anxiety disorders. In particular, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Obsessive-compulsive Disorder.
Her therapeutic style is deeply relational. Natalie’s approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Psychedelic-assisted Therapy.
Clinical Hours: Natalie is available for evening sessions on Monday and daytime sessions on Fridays beginning in November 2026.
