Malvina Skorska | Intake Coordinator

Malvina is currently a student in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University, where she is training to become a psychotherapist. In the meantime, Malvina conducts intake sessions at Ontario Sex Therapy and is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto.

Malvina completed research-based Honour's Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Psychology from McMaster University (HBSc) and Brock University (MA and PhD). Malvina also completed Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of Toronto Mississauga and at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Her research focused on sexual orientation and gender dysphoria and has been published in various scientific journals, including the top sexuality journals. As Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, Malvina is focused on teaching classes related to social psychology and aspects of clinical practice, and is continuing with some of her previous research.

In her free time, Malvina enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, running, reading the latest fiction, and watching a good TV show or movie.

Malvina is looking forward to connecting with prospective clients with empathy and warmth.
